When the Bones are Weak the Bones will Speak
“When the Bones are Weak the Bones will Speak” was a multimedia installation and live performance visualizing the eternal recycling of universal energy. It was a durational performance that created a surreal fountain of energy transference between flowing water, two dissimilar bodies, the sounds of internal nature, and the physical voice.
Materials: twist ties, fabric, wood, polyester filling, plastic, acrylic paint, sewing thread, glass bottle, duct tape, plastic tubing, fountain pump, plastic pool, water, food coloring, curtain rod, and candle.

“When the Bones DO NOT SPEAK the Bones will Break” was an installation following the live performance of "When the Bones are Weak the Bones will Speak". The blood red fountain embodied the destruction of the physical body if it can not release its internal energies. During the weeks left flowing in the gallery, the sculptures became weak and stained due to the absorption of the water.
